Restoran Rebung Oleh Chef Ismail Ahmad

Hari ni berbuka puasa kat restoren yang dah lama aku dengar cerita tapi tak berkesempatan nak mencuba.. Restoran Rebung oleh celebrity Chef Ismail Ahmad bersama angkasawan negara, Dr, Sheikh Muszaphar di Bangsar.

Kelmarin, Fuad nak berbuka ngan masakan asli kampung, so kami cadangkan restoren ni. Memandangkan kami semua belum lagi pernah mencuba masakan direstoren ni, kami pun setuju ngan cadangan tu.

Bahagian depan pintu masuk Restoran Rebung.

Dari luar, restoren ni sebijik macam rumah kampung.. (tapi macam rumah setinggan pun ada!), tapi masakan dia memang sedap. Kena ngan selera kampung kami. Hari ni ada Sambal Sotong, Masak Lemak Daging Panggang, Pajeri Nenas, Masak Lemak Siput Sedut, Paru Sambal Berlada, Gulai Ikan Patin (favourite Fuad!), Pari Masak Asam Pedas, Ulam-ulaman, Pucuk Ubi Tumbuk Dengan Tempoyak, Pengat Durian & Pulut dan macam-macam lagi la.

Dessert buffet..

Main buffet.. tak besar tapi lauk-pauk kegemaran semua ada..

Overall, berpuka puasa kat sini memang tak mengecewakan.. sebab semua masakan kegemaran ada malam ni!

Perkenalan yang diikat lebih dari sepuluh tahun..
Tak pernah janggal..
Sama seperti dulu.. sungguh peramah, sungguh prihatin, sungguh bertanggungjawab..
Aku tak mahu menaruh harapan.. harapan yang pernah aku pertaruhkan
Cukup lah sekadar dapat berteman.. sekadar pengisi rasa sunyi
Aku hargai setiap tingkah-laku mu.. membuat aku dihargai..
Kerana kau dan aku.. adalah dua insan yang berlainan
Insan yang hanya bergelar teman..

London.. (day 7)

Today, is another exciting day for me. We went around London city again.. taking the tube again (and not feeling scared anymore!) and more places to discover. I was so glad that I made my own itinerary, so that I won't miss anything while I'm here. And yes, I visited most of the places and it is so worth it!

Paddington Station..

Walking our way from the hotel to Paddington Station and stopped at Westminster Station near the Parliament House, I was so excited to have a second chance to see the Big Ben and London Eye again.

Familiar scenery in London City..

The London Eye.

But our first stop is the London Eye. Since we have bought the combined ticket of Madam Tussauds & London Eye yesterday, we don't have join the long queue (lucky me!). If we did not bought those ticket, I bet we have to queue at least for 2-3 hours to get into the London Eye. You guys would not gonna believe it.. it was like a rock concert! Lots of people here.. I don't know where are they coming from!

I'm here at the London Eyes!

Look at the queue..!!

I've been to Singapore Flyer and to compare between both, I felt that Singapore Flyer is bigger. Since people was talking about the London Eyes, I might as well experience it myself while I'm here in this well-known city.

While in the London Eye flight, I met with a friendly Thai girl.. at first we asked each other to take our photos , then she suggested me some other attractions in London. Even advised me on how to get to those places.

Second stop is the London National History Museum. I was so happy now, I felt so safe moving around London with the tube and our next stop is South Kensington Station. After about 5 minutes walk from the station, I saw a huge old building of National History Museum. This museum was huge and we only have limited time to spend here as we have some other places to visit.

Outside the museum..

Inside the museum..

I always wanted to see the Tower Bridge myself, and to get here is a bit tricky. There are 2 nearest station in this area and we don't really know which is the nearest station to it. Stopped at one of the station, and found-out that it is not the nearest station to Tower Bridge.. so we have to walk about 20 minutes to reach our destination. As this area is the busy business area in London, I really enjoyed the walk.. And finally, we reached the famous Tower Bridge. We spent about an hour here after a long walk.. picnic and enjoying our scenery of the bridge.

Finding my way to the London Bridge.. 20 minutes walk from here!

After the office hours, everybody rushing to get home.. but amazing experience!

Finally.. I'm approaching the famous Tower Bridge!

Yeayy!! :)

Enjoying the time with the bridge..

Then we heading to St Paul Cathedral. It is quite late when we reached, the cathedral has closed. Took a few pictures outside the cathedral and took a double decker bus back to Paddington. By now, I was so confident taking the bus to move around as the Oyster Card that we bought for tube can be used for buses as well.

Infront of St Paul Cathedral.

The bus stop opposite St Paul Cathedral where we took the bus home..

While walking back from the bus stop to the hotel, I was so craving to have Tom Yam for dinner. Luckily, I noticed a small Thai restaurant behind our hotel block and stopped for light dinner with Tom Yam.

While on the way back to through Gloucester Terrace..

Thai River restaurant behind of our hotel..

Cozy restaurant with a great service..

At last, I managed to have Tom Yam Noodle..

London.. (day 6)

I was so excited to have arrived in London, checking my itinerary and map as soon as I woke-up in the morning! Our plan for today is to walk around this new city, visit some interesting places and to try the famous underground rail system in the world. I've done my researched before arriving London and basically I know what to do and what to see here.

We walked down the Carven St. heading to Paddington Station.. bought our Oyster Card (kind like our Touch & Go card) and grabbed a the train map at the station. When I open the map, my heart beat so fast! Suddenly I felt so scared when my eyes was on the train map! There was more than 10 colourful train line here.. gosh, I just don't know how to deal with it! This is so new to me..

The famous Black Cabs.

A new neighborhood for me..

Trying my luck and we did managed to move around this big city with the underground rail system. At first, I was a bit 'jakun' the underground is either 2 or 3 storey or level under the ground.. you even can feel the train coming either above you or below you.

Underground train.. the famous in the world!

For today, we've visited Big Ben and The Parliament House, then walk down to Trafalgar Square, stop for a quick break at the Green Park not far from Buckingham Palace, then took the subway again to Madame Tussauds and to Piccadilly Circus.
