7 Kawah Dinner At Marriott Putrajaya.

The day has come for our family's annual buka puasa gathering for the year of 2008. Again Marrriott Putrajaya, just like last year.. still with their '7 kawah (kuali besar)' theme this year.. the gulai kawah which the head chef is very proud of. Food was marvelous and the dinner was great.. it is always fun to be around family once in a while.

My niece was so happy that I managed to changed my shift just to join them, besides she had a good news as well. She had introduced me to her new boyfriend.. and my sister was so cool about it, she always did! I wish my late mother was like that!



Besides that the 7 kawah of gulai (curry), I really enjoyed Marriott Putrajaya's dessert counter. They had 101 ABC (Ais Kacang) with a snow mountain.. 101 type of condiments for ABC and ice-cream! Isn't that amazing?? It was a DIY ais kacang stand. Yes, it is not a typo, Marriott Putrajaya has 101 different things you can out in your ais kacang! From all kinds of nuts and jellies to fresh fruits, red beans, syrups galore and lots more. There's even ice-cream and different sauces at the side for you to pile on. To many choices, to little stomach!!

I was fallen asleep after the dinner while everybody was catching-up with their gossips and latest news. Look at the picture of me, taken by my niece while I was sleeping at the dinner table. I just couldn't help it, I worked in the morning shift and I was so tired.. I didn't realised it happen!



After the dinner, as usual, our photo sessions. Look at us, what a happy family..! I really had fun..! Waiting for Hari Raya now.. and they will celebrate Hari Raya this year at my place. Pity, I have to work! Errhh..!! : (

Steamboat madness..

Liling, don't be angry.. we had another dinner in Yuan Steamboat restaurant! Envy us again?? Don't be.. we will have another dinner with you and the rest one of these day, ok? But, dinner with friends are so much fun.. sad you are not around!

Planned buka puasa again at the same steamboat restaurant in Sunway. This time, 13 person of us.. but Poh Ling and Annie couldn't make it this time around. I heard Poh Ling having her birthday dinner with her officemates.. is that right?? : ) And by the way, Poh Ling, I heard about your birthday gift story as well!! Pity you.. I wish I'm rich so that I can buy you the birthday present that you want. Blek! :P

In the afternoon, went to my dermathologist to get a jap so I can eat all the seafood tonight in the steamboat restaurant. Have to wait for about 2 hours before I can see the doctor. Or else, I will get ichy all over my body especially on my face due to the seafood allergie. The doctor asked me to become a vegetarian because of my skin problem.. no way! They must be some other way to avoid it right? But to give-up on food.. just not my style. You guys know it right, I just love food..!

Reach at the restaurant at about 7.10pm, but we could not find our table reservation. Poh Ling is the one who responsible for the table reservation, but it was not there. How can that be?? Explaination please! :P Anyway, they managed to get us a table on the 1st Floor next to the buffet counter (even better) and all 13 of us in one table.

Everybody was happy with the dinner.. as usual, Razman the joker for the day and the rest, enjoying the prawns and the chicken wings especially Joe and Fuad.. they are so crazy for prawns! As you can see in the picture above, 'chicken wings madness' are in progress! It was so funny to see everybody was fighting over the chicken wings and we also managed to get ourself involved with the fight! Within 2 minutes, all gone! It was fun!

Pity Tim, he did not eat seafood and he found it wierd to put everything in the steamboat pot and later search for it. Tim ask Joe on how he should eat the vegetables, and Joe replied, 'We have to put it in the hot pot!'. Then Tim replied, 'I have to teach you guys here how to eat salad!'. Blek! :P The only thing that Tim ate last night was a fried rice, taufu and chicken wings. I felt so sorry for him for not be able to enjoy the food as much as we do! Anyway, the rest are enjoying it..

We managed to get our asses out from the restaurant at about 9.30pm and has to rush back to KL as Allie and Tim is on night shift.



Everybody had made their own way home, after sending Tim to the hotel to start his shift at 10.45pm, I made my way to sent Joe at 8 Guest House in Tegkat Tong Shin then to Zahir's place to watch Indon tele-movie 'Intan' (I love Kang Rado! Cute.. very cute!!).
After the tele-movie, me and Zahir went to Joe's room to 'lepak' and casual chit chat. We left at 2.30am and it is time to rest on our own beds..

A surprise gift from my sister..

I was so surprised when Kak Chik (my 5th sister)told me that she have something for me. She'd told me about this gift thing last week but I was thinking that she's joking.

Reached home at 1.30am on Saturday night from work, Kak Chik, Mimi, Nurul and Amir was sleeping in my room over the TV. I have no place to sleep!! Noticed that I entered my room, Kak Chik woke-up.. and hand over me a Calvin Klien box. It was a leather wallet come with leather keychain. So sweet of her.. she gave me a lot of gifts.. but I do gave her a few gifts before.. I think twice! :) Blek..!

Then she carry-on talking about her new Juicy Couture Velour Baby Fluffy handbag (whatever..!).. that was bought in the US (I heard that Sebastian's dad bought all her stuff now! Wonder, what's going on between them..?), about her new Celcom broadband (I'd tried the broadband and online until 5.00am!) and blah.. blah.. blah..

Anyway, thanks a lot my beloved sister and more to come please..! He.. he.. :)

It's A Movie Night!!

I invited Yati, Razman, Zahir & Joe to come over to my place for 'sahur' last night. Besides than that, we are planning to watch a Thai horror movie called 4Bia. Later, Tim told me that we wanted to join us and he was saying that it will be fun to hang around with us. Since he will be working at 11.00pm shift tomorrow and have no plan at night, he will bring along his dvd titled Shutter (English version) to watch with us.

Right after I finish my shift at 11.00pm, I sent Tim home for him to change then pick-up Zahir at his place then bought some food for our sahur. Yatie and his family arrived at about 12.30am, then Razman. Joe called and asked me to pick him up near Seri Gombak at about 1.30am.

Once everbody arrived, the movie started and we watch 4Bia first then Shutter. The storyline is about 4 different short horror incident in one movie. It was scary and everybody was so excited and thrilled! Shutter (English version) is similar to the first Shutter movie from Thailand. And I really enjoyed watching Shutter in Thai rather than the one in English. You know, Thai horror movie are very good and realistic compared than other horror international movie.

Last night, I realised that Tim was a 'chicken', he was actualy a 'pengecut'! Meanwhile, Razman and Zahir are shouting non-stop along the movie! Yatie and family left my place right after 4Bia finished and we continue with Shutter. For me, I really enjoyed 4Bia then Shutter. It was a very fun night watching movies at home with friends.

Later at about 5.30am, I sent Tin, Zahir and Joe home and really had a great time inviting them to my place for the movies. I think, I should do this kind of gathering more often. I really had a good time last night! : ) Thanks guys! : )

Ghost House!

We decided to watch a movie last night. But didn't know what to watch, I recommended to watch 4Bia (Thai movie) but there is no midnight show. Very frustrating even I've watch that movie from DVD the other day in my friend's house. I really wanted them to experience the horror moment in 4Bia. It was damn scary!

Finally.. me, Zahir, Razman, Fuad, Ghazalie, Hanafi, Nazri, Mary and Azian decided to watch Ghost House, since this is a Thai movie, I really believe it will be a great horror movie. Since it was directed by the same director for Shutter and 4Bia, I really put my trust for the satisfaction for the Ghost House.

Met Tim having a drink in San Francisco Steakhouse and he decided to join us for the movie. While in the movie, I was non-stop eating my popcorn and sandwiches, Fuad was fallen asleep, Ghazalie and Nazri busy talking.. I hate watching movie with an interruption in between! Later, after the movie, most of them had expressed their dissatisfaction on the movie as it was not a horror movie instead it was a thriller movie.

As for me, I had my full satisfaction as I give my concentration to the movie and I understand the storyline. But I do have great time and it was fun to be around a bunch of friends. Well, this is the time you guys watch it and let me know! : )

Breaking Fast Over Steamboat & Old Town White Coffee!

Poh Ling suggested us to have dinner in a steamboat restaurant in Sunway. According to her, the steamboat was so good and it's cheap! As you guys can see from the pictures, we had so much fun here. The food was really good with a lot of choices from seafood, vegetables and some other stuff.



















But the phenomenal was their chicken wing. Customers waiting for the chicken wings to arrive on the buffet table. But when those chicken wings was place in the serving dish, all of it was gone within 2 minutes!! Can you imagine how tasty are the chicken wings?! Gosh, I've never experience it before! Fun!!

Me, Azian's family, Poh Ling, Annie with her boyfriend, Razman and Ally had a really fun time cooking in the steamboat while listening to the latest gossips by Azian! As you know, she was the biggest 'Mak Nam' ever in Mandarin Oriental!

Then after the steamboat dinner, we went to Old Town White Coffee in Jalan Yap Kwan Seng having some drinks. But before that, we have to pick-up Joe from his hotel in Tengkat Tong Shin. Joe unable to join us for the dinner as he was to tired handling all his visa matter in the morning. So, he decided to join us for coffee after our dinner.

It was later joined by Yatie, Tim, Dawina, Stamn and Zahir. It was fun to be together with friends to catch up on gossips once in a while. But Razman, as usual being a joker and we'd laughed to tears with all his jokes.. I really had a great time that night.

Welcome Ramadhan Al Mubarakh..

Happy that Ramadhan is coming.. we certainly will find a lot of food stalls in town and almost everywhere! This is the month for all the food fanatics!

Yesterday was the 1st day of Ramadhan, I'm glad that I managed to go through it peacefully even sometimes felt like to drink and smoke. I also managed to be patient both on personals and food. First buka puasa yesterday was with Zahir & Achat at his place. Surprisingly, I did not eat as much as usual.. just some rice and desserts. Bought a few selections of jelly (agar-agar) which is my favourite.

Reach home at about 11.10pm and straight on the TV for Indon telemovie 'Intan'.. I just wanted to watch this tele-movie because of Kang Rado, one of the lead actor.. he was so cute! At home, my 5th sister with her husband and my niece (Dina) and nephew (Amir) will stay overnight as Nurul (my niece) was admitted into Pusrawi Hospital, she was fainted the day before yesterday. Pity her.. I haven't got a chance to visit her in the hospital yet. Will try to visit her as soon as possible..

At 1.30am, after finished down loading a few songs into my iTouch, felt tired and went to bed peacefully..
