Right after I dropped Mimi at her school this morning at 7.30am, I heading straight to town. Caught in morning peak hours right after Cheras toll plaza al the way into town.. gosh, traffic was so bad and faced the same problem every morning in Kuala Lumpur! Had promised Rahman to pick him up at Warisan Hotel in Bukit Bintang by 8.30am.. but he was late!! Sent him a few sms since 7.30am.. but no reply! Then I decided to call his mobile, luckily he answered his phone.. that was at 8.30am, he just woke-up!
It took us 2 solid hours to settle the check-up. You know how government sector is.. but they had improved. the last time I went to GH when I was suspected dengue fever a few years back, I've spent half of the day there!! Can you imagine??
After we had done with the check-up, we went straight to Rahman's place.. he just can't wait to cook me Laksa Sarawak which his friend brought all the way from Kuching yesterday. For those who had no idea what Laksa Sarawak is, it is a bihun (rice noodle) in light chicken curry flavored gravy with sliced egg pancake, bean sprout, chicken, chopped coriander leaves and spring onion. It was so delicious!! While Rahman preparing it, I took a short nap.. exhausted due to lack of sleep last night (for being online to much!).
At 3.00pm, I left Rahman's place rush to go home.. have to send Mimi for her tuition class at 4.00pm, then pick her up at 5.30pm.. then another class at 8.00pm till 9.00pm. Fuuhhh.. what a day!!
