Meatball + Ikea = Fun!

It was my off day on Thursday and planned to go to Ikea to get and to steal some kitchen ideas from them! Made an appointment with Ally, Poh Ling, Razman & Zahir to have dinner in Ikea as well. Really had fun! And really had an idea for my kitchen!

Getting bored to type my blog now.. Will end this blog here and will try to continue as soon as I can! Sorry guys..!

Yazid Wed Sarina + Fun = Satisfaction

Long Distance Trip:

Lucky Pohling called me at 8.30am just to let me know that Liling & Darren couldn't make it for the trip. That is when I realised that I was overslept! Set the alarm clock and mobile for 7.30am but I was dead sleeping all the way until I received a call from Pohling! Thanks Poh-Poh! :)
I was late at the meeting venue and only be able to reach there at 9.15am instead of 9.00am as planned. Lucky, Joe and Razman are late too! Left KL almost at 10.00am and and only 3 cars are going myself (with Bilal, Sandra & Razman), Ally's car (with Pohling, Suhana, Joe & Cindy) and Zahir's car (with Tim & Nazri), stopped at Restauran Jejantas Rawang for breakfast. After the breakfast, we continue our journey but there was a massive jam right after the Rawang toll plaza. I wonder why, and wonder what time we will reach to Sarina's wedding?
The driving was smooth and fun and finally reached Simpang Pulai R&R to change before we heading to the wedding.

Sarina's Big Day: 23rd August 2008

Finally reached at Sarina's wedding at about 2.00pm and right after saying hello to her and husband, we straight heading to the buffet table.. everybody was hungry from the long journey! The wedding are simple and Sarina looked gorgeous with her bronze colour wedding dress.. and was make-up by Mogi! I never knew that Mogi be able to do that.. I thought he can only choreographing.
At the wedding, Leman's and family was there, Rosli and family was there, Bala, Rozie and boyfriend was there and us. It is always fun when we see a familiar faces at the wedding! Stay for a while at the wedding, took a lot of pictures and it was fun! Then Rosli invited to his wife's hometown for rambutan, durian and waterfall.. chances not to be miss! It will be more fun!

In The Kampung..

It was fun to be in the kampung.. never really have chance to really experience it in my life. So, I was really excited when each time I've got the invitation to visit someone's kampung! On the way, we stopped at Kelly's Castle and took a few picture. I always wanted to visit the so called haunted castle and finally, I made it!
Reached Lisa's house at about 5.00pm and the house was so huge! You can even play football in the house, can you imagine how big is the house?! Got my baju melayu changed, and heading outside for durian. It was so fresh from the tree and everybody enjoyed it very much! Then went to the jungle for mangosteen and pulasan. Nazri climbed up the mangosteen tree and shakes the tree for the fruit. It was fun picking up the mangosteen from the ground.. a lot for fun from Razman with his jokes! Tim and Sandra non-stop taking photos.. yeah.. you know what I mean! But Bilal doesn't seem happy going into the kampung and to the waterfall as he was so parenoid with black magic and scared that he will get one from the villagers. Isn't that silly??!
We were like 'jakun' in the kampung and it was so much fun! Then Rosli took us to the waterfall. Gosh, how I wish I can swim in that river. The water was so cold and inviting! But, we did not miss out chance to be in the river.. taking pictures and relaxing our self. I was fun!

Pizzas..

Reach KL at about 9.30pm after a long sleepy drive from Ipoh. It was raining on the way back and the traffic is smooth. Tim invited us to his apartment for a drink and only me, Nazri, Joe and Razman agreed to lepak. He live in the Park View Apartment just behind of The Beach Club. The service apartment is nice & cozy with a view of KL Tower and I didn't expect Tim is so organized and his place was clean and tidy.
Tim later ordered a pizzas and Nazri bought us a few drinks from the mamak stall nearby. While watching Russell Peters Show fron his iMac, 3 boxes of pizzas are gone ate by 5 hungry stomachs! Took a few pictures with the guys and left Tim's apartment at about 12.30am.
I really had a fab time with all of you.. thanks for making it a great experience and I really had so much fun!

Headache.. headache.. headache..!!

My kitchen is under a small renovation at the moment.. it's has been 4 days now.. and it was such a mess!! Everybody knows that I don't really like a messy place especially my home.. and now, it is my kitchen! I've got headache looking at it!! :(

Today is my off day from work and just spending my time here in my room busy downloading songs from LimeWire while my soon to be brother-in-law and another contractor are busy working in my kitchen. I couldn't stand with the mess and lucky I've made a plan with Yatie, Zahir and Sandra (Lebanese student) to go to Little India (Jalan Masjid India) to do our survey on curtains at Jackel Store, survey on Baju Kurung/Baju Kebaya for Sarina's wedding and 'bunga telur' for my sister wedding after the Hari Raya. But Sandra couldn't make it. So, only 3 of us went having fun in Little India doing our so called 'window shopping'.

Traveled to Little India by LRT at 6.00pm with a long Q and jam-packed subway.. a normal situation in Kuala Lumpur public transportation at peak hours! Went to SSF and gosh, I always love all the things in it! SSF is a local house deco store under one roof, and each time I went there, i will end-up buying things for my house. But today, I managed to stay focused not to buy anything thinking about my budget for my kitchen's renovation and a new kitchen cabinet I plan to buy from Ikea. Why in life, we always have a problem with money, money and money?!!

Then, we heading to Jackel Store and there was plenty of nice curtain fabrics and other fabrics + French lace in all kind of colours! Yatie had gone crazy with all the fabrics and French laces.. all are nice and in exclusive colours.. and very expensive. How nice if I could be a women and be able to wear all those lovely French laces from all colours! Just look at the pictures and you will now why and what I'm talking about!! I'm so envy with all the womens.. they have a lot of choices in life!

After dinner with Zahir, Yatie and her husband in KLCC Food Court, heading home with Zahir as Achat was on his way to my place. They will spend the night with me.. as Zahir will be in the same shift as me at 12.00noon tomorrow.

It is almost 2.30am now, and felt so tired today and a little headache looking at my kitchen again.. I guess, I better go to bed now or I will never sleep tonight writing and being online all night long!

Will plan for my kitchen cabinet and the budget tomorrow. As well doing my survey in Ikea soon.. it'll be fun! :)

In Love Again..

At first, I'd falling in love with this Bose Ipod speaker.. I was so envy when I saw it in Richard's house that day, he told me that his son bought him an iPhone together with the Bose speaker. Tried them and I like it so much! The sound was so clear and the design portable was so chic!! I really had fall in love with this machine!

I've checked-out the price in Bose KLCC.. it cost a bomb! RM1,999.00.. that is a lot of money to spend! But it is my must have item for now. I couldn't imagine how good it will look with my lovely iTouch! All my friends will be jealous if I get one of this.. he.. he! : )

Went to Apple Shop in Lot 10 the other day.. just browsing for my iTouch accessories and tried the Bose speaker with my iTouch again.. gosh, it was so chic!!

But later, the sales assistance had introduced me with this speaker that was so weird looking, round in shape and it was in black. He later took my iTouch and plug onto the dock and turn on the volume.. I was amazed with it! It sounded so much better than Bose speaker.. it was JBL iPod speaker (picture above). I can hear the bass and the voice from my iTouch so clear.. and it only cost RM1,379.00. Cheaper and it sound much better than Bose!

I guess I had fall in love with JBL iPod speaker now! Yes, I'm in love.. again! : )

Eat, eat, eat..!

It is now 2.20am and I'm typing my blog in Hazian's house (my lovely pet sister).. Arrived at 2.00pm today for lunch and had promised Hazian to be at her house at 1.00pm. But since I woke-up at 12.30pm and stopped in Greenwood to buy some durian and glutinous rice (pulut), I was late! Lucky, Hazian was still cooking my favourite curry, Eggplant Curry (Pajeri Terung). With Spinach, Fried Salted Fish (ikan masin goreng) and Sambal Belacan. It was so delicious and I had my second helping!

Later in the afternoon, early evening, Jaja bought Goreng Cempedak and Keropok Lekor for afternoon tea. The goreng cempedak was so sweet and nice, had 4 numbers of them!

My day off today was spent watching tv and talking to Hazian, Jaja and Nashriq. Well, had promised them since last week, since the visit from Ben to spend time with them for lunch and stay overnight in their place. Promise has to be kept as promise!

At about 7.00pm, Mima arrived and we had durian with glutinous rice (pulut).. wow, it was so nice to have these kind of food after a while been thinking to have it. Since I was thinking that I'll be eating alone as Zahir and Achat doesn't really like durian, I have to keep it myself until I find someone that really will enjoy these kind of food together with me. Lucky, Hazian's family enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed it myself!

Today, the only thing that I did was EAT, EAT, and more EAT! Hope it will not make me fat! :)

9th August 2oo8.. Dinner in the 'Cave'.

It is Liling's farewell dinner party.. and Cindy suggested to have it in a restaurant called Cave in SS2, PJ. Surprisingly, it is looked like a cave! Whoever got a chance, please, please try the restaurant.. it is something different. You will feel like you are in the movie set of The Flinstone! So cool!! Food wise, not bad. We like their Spaghetti Cabonara, Sweet Chicken Salad (looked and tasted like chicken with lemon sauce! Yummy!) and their signature drink.

I had so much fun that night meeting Poh Ling, Stephanie Putt, and the rest of the girls. But Mary really mesmerise me with her look that night! At first, she looked like Flinstone's wife (wearing a zebra dress, the only thing missing is the big round stone/pearl necklace!) but when she about to leave the restaurant, she put on her black trench coat.. and it was so stylo! I love it!! Mary was so pretty that night.. same to the rest of the girls! Poh Ling with her new hairstyle (a-la Rihanna!) looked so sweet and stylish, but I suggested her to do more bob cut for the back hair.. it will look even better. I even felt so sad not be able to meet Liling again as she will be flying around the world soon.. joining the Singapore Airlines. Gonna miss her! I am so proud with all the girls! ;)

Finally, we said goodbye at 12.30am after our dessert (Blueberry Cheescake and Chocolate Pudding with Vanilla Ice-cream).. I will definately go back to that one of a kind restaurant again soon.. who knows, probably with someone special! Poh Ling, lets see who will go there first?! :) You know what I mean!!

Saiful Wed Reena.. 10th August 2oo8.

After receiving the wedding invitation card from Saiful, I was so excited to wait till that wedding night! Not because of the wedding, but because the wedding will meet me with most of my long lost friends since The Legend Hotel that was more than 10 years ago!

Finally, the day had come.. a very grand reception in Kelab Darul Ehsan, Ampang. I came with Mima and her husband from her home in Hartamas, at the entrance I met Nomi Jualiana, who used to be my very best friend, but once she got married to Abg Mail, she has to live her married life and left me. Sad.. She hugged me so tied and almost drop her tears. Besides then happy meeting me there, she had another reason to cry when meeting me.. well, it is a secret between me and Nomi and I can't type it down here.. She wore a her black 'jubah' and tudung.. she used to be very sexy and daring before! She changed a lot!

Then came Azhar, he used to work in MO (Reservation Dept.) and used to be Zaph's boyfriend! He.. he..

In the wedding hall, I met Siah Lay Choo, the clumsy and funny girl. She really put on weight and so big! Well, it's been 10 years and people changed.. and me too! Met a few MO colleagues there from Pacifica, Chefs, Eri and her daughter (she was so so cute!!) and some ex-MO staffs as well. I felt like a reunion party that night! A few minutes later, came Linda, the petit girl that used to work in The Legend Reservation Dept. together with Mima and Reena. She was small and petit as ever but looked a bit older that her size!

Then at 8.30pm, the bridge and bridge groom came in.. Reena looked pretty in her terquiose blue wedding dress.. and Saiful was so gentlement with Reena in his arms. Another history made..

During dinner, we've been entertained by a musician from the Tentera Darat and surprisingly, one of the guest is Rahimah Rahim, the evergreen singer from Singapore. She was so famous when I was 16 or 17 years old! She came up on stage a sing a song for the bride and the bridge groom.. Food was good and we really enjoyed it with a joke from Mizan's wife really made the night. Oo.. I was sitting in the same table with Mima and her husband, Nomi, Azhar, Mizan and wife, Leman and his wife (Ayu) and Mario (the MO Banquet guy).

It was a lovely night where we would meet again after more that 10 years and it really brings back the memory lane among us.. I enjoyed it so much!

No idea!!

It's 5.00am right now.. still don't have any idea what to type in this blog! I'm still very excited to do this blog but nothing much happening today to share with you guys!

Woke-up at 11.00am after an exciting night (last night) when I managed to signed-up for this wonderful blog site (after been convinced by Liling!!). Went to Air Asia ticket office in KL Sentral to purchase an air ticket for guest and I was the 1,279 in the Q. Can you guys imagine I was there since 1.20pm and only be able to be at the counter at 2.55pm.. the crowd was horrible! I hate it! Bumped into George Huang on my way back, he was sweet as before.. very soft spoken. Kinda miss him. You should hear how soft he talk to his girlfriend.. melted! Was talking to him until about 3.15pm and only realised that I was late to work. Shit!!

All day long at work been thinking about myself being alone.. it would be a wonderful day if I'm still in love and being loved. Then, all the great guys that has been into my life came across my mind.. A****, F****, F*****.. I wonder how's their life now? Are they happy? Are they having a good life with the person they love right now? Never mind, life goes on.. and on.. and on..

It's almost 5.30am now, got to go to sleep! Got a lot of things to do tomorrow (my off day!), to do laundry, to clean the house, to send my car for service, to buy a wedding gifts for Sofireena and Sarina, to do some shopping, to visit Ikea while they having sales, bla bla, bla bla, bla bla..
