An Overseas Call..

My mobile rang at 12.18am from a private number.. it looked like a call from overseas. I didn't expecting any overseas call, or maybe Richard or Joe calling me from London? Picked-up the phone and a strange voice saying hello.. 'Who's this?' I asked. 'Hey, you tak kenal I lagi??' the voice said. 'Sorry, who's this??' I don't have a clue who's calling.

The voice replied, 'Chris la..'. Oh my gosh, a call from Chris Limp, what a surprise! He called me from Macau! Don't know on what occasion, probably he miss his friends here in KL. We talked like we have not been talking to each other for a long time, by the way, he was in KL in June if I was not mistaken. A group of us went for a lunch with him. Or probably he is in a depression and need someone that he can talk to?

He told me, he is no longer working in Venetian Casino Resort and instead, he is in The Westin Macau now. Better offer from The Westin for a position as a Duty Manager. He was depressed at the moment, he's the only Duty Manager on duty right now, the Senior Duty Manager is on leave and the Front Office Manager was on business trip. So he has to run the show solo! Pity him..

I asked him if he miss us and asked him to come back to KL, but he said it is too early for him to leave Macau and really really miss all of us in KL. He'll be back early next year for Chinese New Year.. hope I be able to meet him again. Chris is such a great friend, funny and a loving person. And he is a good looking Chinese guy too! :) If you read this Chris, I bukan nak puji you but it's the fact!

Chris told me that most of his guests in Westin Macau has been to Mandarin Oriental Hotel Kuala Lumpur. And told him, Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur are among the best hotel in MOHG group beside The Oriental Bangkok. So proud of it!! And Chris proudly told me, he is also representing Mandarin Oriental Hotel Kuala Lumpur as well!! Shouldn't him proudly representing Westin now? :P

We talk for almost 15 minutes before we said goodbye. Aww.. I really miss you Chris..
