Gong Xi Fa Chai!

Since Ally, Dawina and Mary have to work on the first day of Chinese New Year this year, Ally had planned for an outing (you know, photo taking and stuff!). Right after work, myself, Fuad, Ally, Mary, Zahir and Yatie departed to Putrajaya.. it was a fun ride as the traffic was very clear on public holiday. We really had fun there, sightseeing, having our afternoon tea and taking pictures. Seriously, I've been to Putrajaya but never had a chance to discover places of interest there myself. But yesterday was so much fun!

We've spent a few hours in Putrajaya and then proceed to Cheng Ho Restaurant in Wangsa Maju for our Gong Xi Fa Chai dinner. But for the dinner, only myself, Ally, Mary and Zahir able to make it. Agus as well joining us but he will meet us at the restaurant. This restaurant owned by singer, Amy of Search (used to be very popular rock band in Malaysia!). The concept of this restaurant is Chinese cuisine in Islamic way (halal). Good selection of food in the menu and reasonable price too (bill come-up to RM134.00 for 5 persons with 5 dishes and drinks). We was so lucky that our table has been attended by Amy Search himself.. he is a very nice guy!

Our dinner ended at about 11.15pm and we are so tired after a long day at work and in Putrajaya. It was a very enjoyable Chinese New Year this year even after I've been wishing all my Chinese guests in the hotel and didn't get any ang pow (red packet)!! Sad!
