Unbelievable..

Zahir came to my place this afternoon just to show me the Annual Dinner & Dance DVD, especially the part of our performance. Watched that DVD, and I was shocked and happy.. unbelievable! Our performance was so grand and perfect.. especially the part towards the end of the performance (below photos was the best part in the show!).











Bravo to all the dancers.. I still couldn't believe that we managed to perform so well, just like a professional dancer! Gosh, you guys should see the performance.. I was so happy and keep on repeating the DVD watching the performance! I really wish I could post that video in my blog to share that best time of my life doing the performance.

Thanks to John, Fuad, Danny, Nazri, William, Yatie, Catherine, Tracy, Tina, Pamela, Davina, Chris Yee, Alycia and Allie with the help from our choreography, Moggie for all their hard works and commitments to make this performance a successful show that night. I'm so proud for all of you guys! :)

Having Someone On My Mind..

I don't know why I can't get this person out of my mind.. yes, I like this person very much but.. I think I'm too much!! Too much to have this feeling for this person!! This person might hate me if this person know about my feeling.

The first time we met, I don't really like this person.. nothing special. But after we've spent a few days together, this person was a very nice person and sweet. The way this person talk, jokes and smile really makes me melting.. like burning candle!!

I know, this is just a crush! But seriously, I only have this person on my mind.. no one else!! :(

Not So Lucky..

The final list of Lucky Draw came out today.. was so excited to check on what I've win from last night. Unfortunately, nothing this year!! I'm not lucky this year.. how can that be?? This is all Mary's fault! Wishing me not to win this year and asking me to give a chance to 'the newbies'.. what-e-ver! :)

The other thing, Abang Bad is not taking home the LCD tv.. Why? I'll tell you why.. it belongs to Badrul Hisham from Pacifica! Aww.. poor Abang Bad. He was so excited that night.. on the stage shaking hand with GM..!



At work, everybody is still talking about our show the other night and still receiving congrats wishes. Mmm.. this is what they called 'glamour' aight?? :) Right after afternoon shift came in, we had a Performer Meeting, to talk about on what shall we do with the cash (RM1,500.00) that we've won. Everyone of us agreed to have a big party at the back office for all our department's colleagues.. regardless to whom that supported us or not! This is to built a good rapport between us so that everybody will support us for next year! But a few issues pop's up from the donation from them.. whether to return back their donation of not to return it back! We'll have another meeting for that then..



I've just couldn't stop looking at the party's pictures again, and again, and again..! Missed all the fun part while doing the performance class and as well the nervous part while waiting for our turn, and not forgetting the excitement and joy while doing the performance on stage.. I really enjoyed every bit of it! It was so much fun!! I've attached a few more nice pictures (from other camera!) of our performance.. hope you guys enjoy it :)



While looking and the pictures and busy replying all the comments received on my Facebook, received a text from Faarhad at 1.57am, 'Sorry, I've just got home from coaches meeting and friendly futsal in Segambut.' Then the chat starts.. until 2.30am. Really missed him! A lot!!

We Are The Champion!

The day had come.. been working for so hard for the past 2 weeks and it worth it! Tonight is the night of our Annual Dinner & Dance (Oriental Night theme for this year).. everybody was so excited, including us.. the Front Desk Dance Troupe. Tonight is the night to show everybody on what we have been working and training everyday, and the night to impressed everybody that had never support us all this years.


It has been a very busy day from as early as 10.00am, getting ready for the performance.. doing the preparation, make-up, last minute prop touch-up and stage blocking. At first, the stage was so wide and we're so happy to have that big space for the performance but, on the day itself, a huge MO Fan was on the stage as a backdrop complete with a few steps of stairs. It makes the stage smaller and we're so worried. We only have a limited space for our performance tonight.. lucky, Moggie had done a last minute stage blocking and it solved all our worries. In fact, it makes us looked more confident and grand on stage! Thanks to our instructor, Moggie, for all his professionalism!


We've made it! This year we managed to keep our title as the champion for Inter-department Performance Competition for the second year! And we also won the Best Dress Department as well. What a night! Front Office had achieved a lot of victory this year, beside than that two titles, Abang Bad won a lucky draw for 37" LCD Panasonic tv, John Ong won a Dell laptop, Michelle won a digital camera and a few other more.



I personally had fun doing the performance tonight. Since most of our dance troupe members are a new comer, we really had that stage fright as well as being so nervous while waiting for our turn to be on the stage! But luck is on our side, everything went smoothly until the end of our performance. We're really satisfied to had made everybody in our department so proud!


All of our department members was so glam with their Cheong Sum dresses and Kungfu style shirts, not forgetting the Shanghai Tai Ko style as well. Mary was so pretty with her gold Cheong Sum with her gold high heels! We also had our a special guests, Poh Ling and Annie. To bad for you Liling, you missed all the fun.



I'm so glad that everything had passed now.. I'm back to my normal life again.. hu.. hu..!! :)

The Finale Night..

Today is the final day of our rehearsal and hard work for the big night tomorrow. Been practicing today from 4.00pm to 9.00pm really makes us really, really tired! Everybody has been instructed by our instructor, Moggie to wear all black.. looked so professional! Been working in the morning shift and after 4.00pm, we have our performance class rehearsal until 9.00pm everyday for the passed 2 weeks. Can you guys imagine how tired we are?? Feel like dying.. with muscle ache and stuff, not to mentioned swollen feet and blistered knees!

During our rehearsal today, had received a lot of good comments from everybody. Done a few touch-up here and there.. and waiting for tomorrow night to see if all our hard works really worth. Our performance is expected at 8.45pm and we're the 3rd performance after Housekeeping Team and F&B Team. We're so nervous..Guys, please pray for our team to keep our title for this year..


Wanna know what I'm gonna wear to the party tomorrow night? A shinning Tai Ko silk shirt with mafla around my neck, black loose pants and black kungfu shoes.. is that too much? Bought the Tai Ko silk shirt in China Town last night while the girls shopping for their performance custome. After bargaining with the shopkeeper, managed to get that Tai Ko shirt for RM40.00.. good deal! The kungfu shoes was bought in Philosophy KLCC for RM34.90 (after 30% discount from RM49.90) and the mafla and black loose pants are from my own collection. I've spent less that RM100.00 for the custome.. managed to keep to my budget!


I'm so very tired and can't really think on what to type in my blog.. what I had in my mind was my bed and pillow.. Got to go to bed now, sorry guys! :)

Almost There..

The performance class for today had gone as far as 90%, just to do a bit of touch-up here and there and the sharpness of our performance.. then we're ready to perform on the 29th October. Then we'll see, which group will have the title for this year. However, we still have a headache on the costume, Moggie has not advise us on how the costume will look like and as well to touch-up all our props for the show. I hope everything will go on as we planned. We had a meeting after the class for our final rehearsal and as well the full dress rehearsal on the day itself before the show start.

Yatie went for the Committee meeting yesterday for the performance and she told us that our performance will be the 2nd show after F&B Team.. nervous!! It has been confirmed that only 6 team will take part this year. Wish us luck!


The invitation card has been distributed to everybody.. just can't wait to see my luck on the Lucky Draw. I was lucky almost every year, the 2nd year I've got dinner set, the 3rd year I've got Samsung DVD Player, the 4th year I've got paid holiday for 3 days & 2 nights in Pangkor Laut Resort, the 5th year I've got 29" colour TV and last year I've got a table fan.. am I lucky or what?? How about this year? Hope it will be a better gift than the rest of the years!

After the rehearsal, we went to Faisal's open house.. yeah.. free food! I've saved an RM for my dinner tonight!! Most of our gang was there.. fun.

Another Raya Open House..

Today we had our performance class in a squash court in Titiwangsa.. nice and big but a bit dusty! You guys should see how our feet look like.. horrible!! All black! I should have take a picture of it! :) But it was OK, the class went very well today. Only a few of us unable to attend the class today due to some circumstances. The training was from 6.00pm till 9.00pm.. and will be the same time and venue for tomorrow. We really enjoyed ourselves and had almost reach to the 100% today. In a few more days, it will be 100% and we're ready to perform on stage!

John told me that he saw the performance group list has came-put on the notice board.. and there are about 5 groups now taking part. And as well a group called 'Pacifica'!! It makes me more confused, after all this while, I heard that Pacifica group is joining F&B Team and now, they have their own team. Not a surprise to us anymore.. we've expected it since the first day! So now, we got to do whatever we got to do!! We'll try to keep our title again this year.. only god knows who's the winner.


And tonight, I was invited for an open house in Yusnoor & Rahman's place. Though to leave from the class straight to their place, but since I was sweating and dusty, I went home instead to take a shower and change. Finally, reached their place at 10.15pm. The only thing in my mind was food! I was very hungry!! Need food!!

It was nice to meet the old friends as well as the new friends in the open houses. Been chatting with them non-stop and trying to catch-up with a few new gossips! Well.. it is not a few, but a lot of them!!

Really enjoyed myself today.. but felt a bit tired from the performance class. Have to catch-up with my sleep now (morning shift tomorrow!).
